My picture of the day is not much but a tree. I planted this tree in the spring all by myself.. AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT GOING TO LIVE..

A new role

As a wife and mom you change, and you take on new roles in your life, you become super woman, a doctor, a coach, a referee, a cook, a taxi, a multi tasked octopus so we wish, a maid, and so much more. Don't get me wrong I love being all that, but I just have to ask myself were is me??? When did I lose me?? I have adapted and become everything I am supposed to be but where is what I was? I know in life we grow older, more responsible, life hits ya, But I have decided I don't have to loose a glimpse of what I want for me... To some people this might sound selfish, but to me you only live once so why live with what ifs.. So I decided I am setting goals of things I want to do just for me...... One is I am going back to school and getting my LPN. It is a work in progress.. #2 is I am going to learn how to ride a motorcycle, I think I am getting the hang of it... A wise woman told me it is all right to do something even if it is just for you...

So as a wife and a mother I decided I can be all they need me to be but yet I don't have to loose me in the process..

Fun In The Sun

The rest of my naked kid story... (no I actually do not just let my kids run naked). Ceresa called and asked me to watch her boys while she worked.... I was so excited we had just set up the pool the day before.. About 11 I had enough of them begging to go play in it. So out we went they had fun for a while then it got kinda boring so we moved the swing set over to the pool so they could slide down the slid into the water. Danyle and Keihin were little fish.. Cole drowned about a thousand times trying to swim, and as for the babies they wanted nothing to do with that water.. So they played til about 2 and then went in to get out of the sun. About the time they got all dried off Chris Tony and Paige showed up.. So back to the water they went except Kaleb he finally fell asleep. Well they all had fun and needless to say I learned the wet way not to trust Chris OR Tony...... I got wetter than the kids, but paid back will be returned.... But that's what summers all about...........

So My mother in law told me about the picture a day she seen.. I decided I want to try it so here we go....

Here is the picture for the day... There is nothing cutier than a babies bare butt......

The kids played in the swimming pool and I was trying to help them get dressed, when I realized Preston was gone. The little striker didn't make it far though...

My kids are the luckiest kids in the world.... They have grandpas who love them very much..

So thank you Steve and Dad For loving them so much. And as they grow older I hope they remember all the things you have taught them..

The bond between a father and a son is something I will never know . But I can say this it has to go deep.. They may not say it like women do but you know it is there.. Us as women we are talkers we express though words good or bad, but I have lately notices if you want to see what a man is saying look deeper, the facial expression, the tone in his voice, body language and the way they touch you. It says alot........
